Healthy Connections: A Young Mothers' Program

This special program is available to any pregnant, school age adolescent. It offers the opportunity to connect with other young mothers for information and support in a caring environment that will help you and your baby have a healthy start.  You must be receiving your prenatal care at Penn State Medical Center to participate in this program.

This program provides:

• Time to be with other young mothers to talk, share ideas, and lend support.
• A caring staff that will help you make decisions that are right for you.
• Health education sessions on subjects important to you.
• Comprehensive pre and post natal care.
• Nutritional counseling.
• Counseling and social services.
• Special activity days for you and mothers like you.
