Anterior Chamber/Vitreous Cavity
Glaucoma: glaucoma.jpg (2558 bytes) Mostly gradual   Pt classically described as halos around lights and pain, but most are asymptomatic
Hyphema: blood in the ant. chamber hyphema.jpg (3740 bytes) Abrupt   Usually: trauma Also: predisposed by abnormal vessels from tumors, DM, intraocular surgery, etc.
Vitreous Hemorrhage: May see decreased red reflex     Usually: trauma Also: predisposed by abnormal vessels from tumors, DM, intraocular surgery, etc. Also: may accompany subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) or aneurysm.
