We are an ALS, BLS, Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) system which services the local and regional community surrounding the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Derry Township, Lower Swatara Twp, and sections of several surrounding adjacent townships (Conewago, South Hanover, and Hummelstown Borough). As well as Palmyra Boro and Townships surrounding Palmyra Boro.

University Emergency Medical Services supports and upholds the mission and values of Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine.

Penn State Hershey Medical Center operates and directs the University Emergency Services system (UEMS) for the south central PA. The Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Department of Emergency Medicine serves as the prehospital medical resource center (EMRC) for local emergency medical services (EMS) units. Continuing education classes and continuous quality improvement are provided for our regional EMS units.
