Division faculty are committed to medical education with teaching in physical diagnosis, in pathophysiology, in case based learning, Rheumatology elective, Medicine resident conference and Medicine Grand Rounds. 

Dr. Ostrov directs the Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Program and teaches pediatric rheumatology, the latter with Dr. Brandt Groh of Pediatrics, who also works closely with the Division of Rheumatology. The combined Faculties of Rheumatology and Pediatric Rheumatology meet weekly for rheumatology case conference, journal club, and research conference. A monthly combined Radiology and Rheumatology conference is held monthly.
