Graduate Medical Education Handbook

This manual was designed to help orient you to the institution and provide an overview of

administrative issues.  Use it as a reference for the various hospital, professional,

ancillary, and other services that you will need to access in order to provide patient care.

  • 2008 Policies - 20 Policies required by the ACGME and approved by the Graduate Medical Education Committee
  • 2008 Benefit Cost Estimates for Residents

  • 2008 Benefit Summary - This guide highlights the main provisions of Penn State Hershey Medical Center’s Benefit Program and is subject to the terms of contracts and other legal documents. The information includes benefit options available to full-time and part-time (.5FTE or higher) residents. Where this guide and the official contracts and plan documents vary in the description of the plans, the contracts and the plan documents are the final authority.

This guide is a summary description of benefits, which may be subject to change. The language in this guide does not imply a contract or assurance of employment or compensation.
