Background
and Education
Dr. Boustred has first trained as a general
surgeon. After completing his training, he worked
as a general surgeon in a mission hospital in Africa,
prior to joining the staff as a general surgeon at a
large academic hospital. Later, he decided to
undergo further training in Plastic Surgery. This
lengthy and extensive training (16 years) has equipped
him to manage a wide variety of problems in Plastic
Surgery. He has worked in South Africa, the United
Kingdom, New Zealand and the United States.
