Our investment in the future

In addition to working with business and industry, we plan to help train the next generation of leaders who will bring innovations generated through research to the marketplace. Through a program organized by the Penn State College of Engineering and the Smeal College of Business at Penn State, students in a special topics course will explore ways to turn new inventions into commercial opportunities using neonatal technology from the Pediatric Innovation Program as their springboard. We believe this educational partnership will not only be a practical real-world experience for the students, but will be an essential tool in bringing our technologies to the people who need them-children.
