for Jacob, without
Penn State Children’s Hospital he may not be here today.”
That’s what Greg and Melanie Lavigna said after their son,
Jacob, had neonatal surgery at Penn State Children’s
Hospital.
Immediately
after birth, the physicians at Reading Hospital knew there was
a problem. Tests revealed he had a potentially fatal condition
and surgery was needed to save his life. From there, LifeLion
immediately brought Jacob to the Children’s Hospital where
the pediatric surgery team prepared him for surgery. Using
their advanced neonatal skills, the team successfully repaired
his underdeveloped lung and diaphragm. His recovery was
remarkable and he now leads a healthy life. The Lavigna’s
couldn’t be more grateful!
