The Morphologic and Molecular Pathology Core Research Lab (MMPCRL)

Professional

Collaboration

  • Subspecialist pathology faculty offer collaboration in the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments, and assist in grant or manuscript preparation.  Pathology residents and faculty can work with you at multiheaded microscopes to help investigators understand the localization and distribution of targeted proteins in various tissues or cell components, in tissue sections or cell cultures.  They can help to define levels of heterogeneity of protein expression and to select scoring systems that most appropriately address this variability.

Photomicroscopy

  • Resident or faculty physician collaborators provide digital light microscopic images of your stained slides for presentation or publication.

  • High resolution electronic virtual slides can be created using the Aperio imaging system (arrangements made with Keith Cheng, PhD, MD).
