Penn State Pathology and Laboratory Medicine

Lab Technician Openings – Closed.

Undergraduate Summer Interns – Opportunities are very limited. People who could only spend a few hours per week on research need not apply.  You are expected to commit a period of full 3 months (June~Aug) with us. The application process goes like this:

  1. Contact me by email. Include your CV as an attachment in the email. I’ll let you know if you are selected to finish the application process.  If you do not hear from me, that means you are NOT selected for further consideration.

  2. Two letters of reference from two people who could objectively evaluate your performance in college so far (preferably from two faculty members who have taught you) and your most recent college transcript.

  3. Face to face interview.

You will be notified of the decision after the process is completed.  Important: A summer undergrad intern is expected to dedicate a total period of 3 months in the lab.

Graduate Students and Postdocs – Interested individuals are encouraged to contact Dr. Mu. However, please read the posting on my website “Expectation For Graduate Students and Postdoc Fellows” very carefully.  Please do not contact me if you think the expectation is beyond you.

The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center of The Pennsylvania State University is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer; Women and Minorities are Encouraged to Apply.
