About our Home Page Music

The words PA AHEC were used to generate our unique home page music. We hope you enjoy it.

This music was produced using an interactive music toy called Muse-O-Matic (developed by Tim Thompson).  To generate the music, you enter any word and the software then generates music based on the letters of that word.  The letters are used in a completely deterministic way to control the structure, rhythm and melody of the music.  KeyKit programming language was used to develop this program that processes and produces MIDI music.
