The PA Area Health Education Center Program is a program committed to:

Increasing access to a health professions workforce through development, recruitment and retention.

The PA AHEC maintains a pipeline of health professions education programs that introduce students as early as primary school to the health care professions.  The PA AHEC fosters the development of health professions career programs in the primary, secondary and undergraduate school years.  Needs driven continuing medical education programs are offered to career professionals that promote collegial networks and peer consultation and also facilitate access to clinical updates and technological advancements through traditional and of-site education.
