Overview
The
National
Institutes of
Health (NIH),
PSUCOM's largest
sponsor of
extramural
research, has
implemented a
strategy to
comply with
public law
106-107, which
mandates that
federal agencies
simplify grant
application
requirements and
create a single
website to apply
for federal
assistance. The
NIH, along with
25 other federal
agencies,
will use
Grants.gov
as the interface
for applicants
to find and
apply for
funding
opportunities.
The NIH and
HRSA (Health
Resources and
Services
Administration)
are our primary
funders who have
made the
transition or
have implemented
a timeline for
transitioning to
electronic
submission via
Grants.gov.
