The Department of Neurosurgery at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, with funding support from the national Brain Tumor Foundation (NBTF) and the Argosy Foundation, will host a free workshop.  The workshop offers techniques to tackle many home care challenges in caring for persons with brain tumors.  Lunch and snacks will be provided.

The workshop covers several topics:

• understanding brain tumors and treatment;
• managing common symptoms and side effects;
• building a personal support network;
• accessing community resources;
• taking care of a home-bound person; and
• getting legal and insurance issues in order
