Hope Lodge
Serves cancer patients and the
families of those who are receiving
treatment at Penn State Milton S. Hershey
Medical Center. People with illnesses
other than cancer are welcome on a
space-available basis. Operated by the
American Cancer Society, Hope Lodge
provides an emotionally supportive
atmosphere and comfortable, inexpensive
accommodations.
Jake Gittlen Memorial Golf Tournament
Having raised over seven million
dollars to date for support
of operations of the Jake Gittlen Cancer
Research Institute at Penn State Milton
S. Hershey Medical Center where
scientists work to find cures for cancer.

Ronald McDonald House: "the
house that love built"
A "home away from home" for
families (12,000 to date) going through a
crisis. It is a place where family
members can stay while their children are
undergoing treatment at Penn State Milton
S. Hershey Medical Center. The home
opened its doors in 1984 and grows
steadily. It is equipped with a
well-supplied kitchen, 20 bedrooms,
laundry rooms, library, lounge,
television rooms, playroom, and staffed
with several employees and volunteers.

Lion Care
Lion Care is a non-profit, student-
run medical clinic that serves homeless
men and women. Lion Care’s staff is made
up of student and physician volunteers.
100% of your contribution goes towards
materials to run the clinic. Donations
are tax deductible through Penn State.
