Information for Visiting Students 

The Department of Medicine accepts fourth-year visiting medical students who apply through and meet the eligibility requirements outlined by the Office of Student Affairs' Penn State Visiting Medical Student Program Policy and Procedures.

Visiting medical students are only accepted on elective rotations.  Medicine Acting Internships are not available to visiting students.  Elective selections can  be accessed through the fourth-year student course directory located on the Office of Student Affairs' website (choose "Medicine" from topics on left).

Penn State medical students are given priority for all Department of Medicine rotations.
