    Baltimore: (Approx 2 hours, 100 miles)
    I-83 to Harrisburg, Route 322 E, follow the signs for
    Hershey Medical Center.

    Hagerstown, MD: (Approx 1 1/2 hrs, 85 miles)
    I-81 N to Route 39 S (Exit 77), follow the hospital signs.

    Martinsburg, WV and Winchester, VA: (Approx 2 1/2 hrs, 125 miles)
    I-81 N to Harrisburg route 39 S (Exit 77), follow the
    hospital signs.

    New York City: (Approx 4 hrs, 200 miles)
    1. New Jersey Turnpike S (I-95) to I-287 to Route 78 W to I-81 S to Route 743 S (Exit 80), follow the hospital signs.

    2. I-80 W to I-81 S (Exit 80) - follow the hospital signs.

    Philadelphia: (Approx 2 hrs, 100 miles)

    1. PA Turnpike W (I-76) to Exit 266, turn left onto Route 72 N. Take 322 W (Hershey) and follow the hospital signs to PSU/COM.

    2. Route 30 W to Lancaster, Route 283 W to Hershey/Elizabethtown Exit, turn right onto 743 N, travel approx 10 miles at 1st traffic light turn left. PSU/COM will be on your left about 1 mile.

    3. Route 322 W to Hershey.

    Pittsburgh: (Approx 4 hrs, 200 miles)
    PA Turnpike E (I-76), to Exit 247, Rte 283 N to Rte 322 E, follow the hospital signs.

    Scranton/Wilkes Barre: (Approx 2 hours, 100 miles)
    I-81 S to Route 743 S (Exit 80), follow the hospital signs.

    Trenton, Princeton and Central New Jersey: (Approx 3 hrs, 150 miles)
    From Trenton - I-95 S or Route 1 S to PA Turnpike W to Exit 266, follow the hospital signs.

    Washington, DC: (Approx 3 hours, 150 miles)
    1. East I-495 N (Capital Beltway) to I-95 N to Baltimore
    I-695 N (Baltimore Beltway) to I-83 N to Harrisburg, Rte 322 E, follow the hospital signs.

    2. West I-279 N to I-70 N to Frederick, MD, Rte 15 N to
    Harrisburg to Rte 83 N to Rte 322 E, follow the hospital signs.

    State College/Lewistown: (Approx 2 hrs, 120 miles)
    322 E to Harrisburg to I-81 to Rte 39 S (Exit 77), follow the hospital signs.

  • That you are an applicant to The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and have an interview.
  • Date of interview and the dates you need lodging.

2. If you would prefer to call the hotel/motel directly, you may do so and they may give you a discount if you mention the above information.

Walking Directions to the Office of Student Affairs

From the Main/North Lobby:

Upon entering the Main/North Lobby, walk straight until you come to the Rotunda (Quad). Turn right. Three elevators will be on your right. You will pass vending machines on your left. Once past the vending area, there will be a set of double doors on your right that take you outside. Follow the sidewalk to the other building and enter through the set of double doors. Now you are in the Biomedical Research Building (BMR). Go straight down the hall with windows on your right. At the end of the hall turn left, proceed straight down the hall and you will be in the BMR Lobby. Turn right and Student Affairs/Admissions (C1805) will be on your right.

From the Parking Garage/South Lobby:

Upon entering from the garage, you will be in the South Lobby. Proceed straight through the South Lobby and down the hallway until you reach the Rotunda (Quad). The cafeteria will be on your left. Turn left, there will be three elevators on your right. Seattle Coffee and vending machines will be on your left. Once past the vending area there will be a set of double doors on your right that take you outside. Follow the sidewalk to the other building with a set of double doors. Now you are in the Biomedical Research Building (BMR). Go straight down the hall with windows on your right. At the end of the hallway turn left, proceed straight down the hall and you will be in the BMR Lobby. Turn right and Student Affairs/Admissions (C1805) will be on your right.
