DISCLAIMER: The
directions listed below are tested means of connecting to pscomnet; they may not
consistently work on specific models. The Library will make reasonable
efforts to assist users with connecting their handheld devices to pscomnet.
The Penn State Hershey Help Desk may assist users with connecting their handheld
devices to pscomnet, but, the Help Desk is not obligated to do so.

Apple iPhones & iTouch - These
instructions should work to connect to pscomnet (Penn State Hershey's WiFi) -
Users must pay for the monthly subscribed Data package in order to access
pscomnet Connecing iPhone to pscomnet: 1. Select 'Settings' button on main menu 2. Select 'WiFi' 3. Select 'New Network' 4. Type in: pscomnet 5. Select WPA Enterprise for Security level 6. Enter your ePass usernamen and password
iPhone Safari functions To access Infonet - type Infonet in the browser bar To access Webmail - type Webmail in the browser bar - click on 'Continue'
when Security Certificate pops up. Email should be there.

Can assist with Palm T|X operating system.

Palm Treo 755 (Smart Phone) Does
not have WiFi connectivity with pscomnet Internet connectivity via phone provider towers only. Can assist with Palm Treo 755 operating system.

All other handhelds are supported
with wired synchronizing capabilities only.

Blue tooth is not currently supported by the
Penn State Hershey IT department.
