George T. Harrell Library Collections
Journals: over 5000 full text journal titles in print and electronic
formats; over 80,000 volumes total.
Books: over 25,000 volumes in the circulating, reserve, reference and Kienle
collections accessed by
The CAT. Also an expanding collection
of Electronic Books.
Rare books: The Rare Book Room contains
books published
before 1835 and leather bound books published before 1900.
Databases:
Electronic access to citations,
abstracts, or full text to journals, magazines, newspapers and other
publications from a number of premier resources such as MEDLINE, Cinahl,
Proquest, Web of Knowledge, PsychInfo, Cochrane Databases
and Evidence Based Medicine Reviews.
Library Catalog. The Library's book and journal holdings may be
searched through the electronic catalog, which is part of the Penn State Library
system . Computers are available on the
first and second floors for access to the catalog. A link to the catalog (The

Collection
Statistics Collection Suggestions. Suggestions for library purchase may be made
by calling x8581, by submitting a suggestion form electronically,
or paper copies are available at the circulation desk.
