Installation Instructions for PaytoPrint Drivers

http://www.hmc.psu.edu/library/services/p2pinstall.htm

New drivers must installed to print to the new improved PaytoPrint Sytem in the Harrell Library. For the installation, you must have a wired connection to HersheyMed network (available in the library).

We've instituted two major improvements.

1. Color printing is now available.  Choose File, Print, PayprintColor. The charge is 3 printer units (21 cents).

2. Any laptop owner with an ePass, not just those in the laptop program, can print to PaytoPrint.

 Pay to Print

A Pay to Print system has been installed in the Harrell Library and in the 24-hour access Computer Media Lab on the second floor of the Library. All users (students, faculty and staff) are charged a fee of one copy card unit, or $.10 for each page printed.

Release Stations that access the print queues have been placed between the PCs and the printers. Users may log onto any Release Station, select the jobs to print, insert a copy card, and the cost of the print job is deducted from the value of the copy card. Copy cards (the same cards used to photocopy, with the same discount and billing procedures) may be purchased from the Circulation Desk.
