Our mission includes dedication of resources to
research in the field of cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery. Penn
State Heart & Vascular Institute is actively involved in the General
Clinical Research Center (GCRC), having the Program Director,
Lawrence Sinoway, M.D., and Associate Program Director, Urs Leuenberger,
M.D., leading this team of world class researchers.
