Liver Diseases
Medical care is provided for patients with known liver diseases and for
diagnosis of possible liver diseases when abnormal liver tests are found. In
addition to medical management of the liver disease, patients are evaluated for
the need for liver transplantation. If liver transplantation is felt to be
needed, appropriate education and evaluation will be provided. Physicians are
involved in a number of clinical treatment studies to evaluate new anti-viral
treatment options for chronic viral hepatitis.
