Informatics

The Computer Lab established with the Computerized Data Management and Analysis System (CDMAS) funding is available for use by GCRC investigators and their staff. All eight computers are connected to the University network running Windows NT. Two network printers are also available. The Systems Administrator is responsible for training on the use of this system and software, system security and data backups. In addition, he is available on a consultant basis to assist with database management, data transfer and analysis, and software installation.

  • Nutritionist Five
  • Internet Access

Hardware:

  • Eight Pentium 120 MHz systems with 32 MB RAM, and 17" monitors
  • HP LaserJet 4 Plus
  • HP LaserJet 2000
  • Access to a Windows NT Terminal Server/Citrix MetaFrame Server running on a Pentium III 500 MHz (x2) with 1 GB RAM
