Facilities

The clinical training program is based at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, the University hospital for Penn State University.  Located in the famous town of Hershey, Pennsylvania, it is a 504-bed hospital that offers a large number of medical and surgical programs, including specialized endocrine surgery, cardiac surgery, Trauma One Center, bone marrow, pancreas, kidney and liver transplantation, a state-of-the-art radiology department, and an NIH-supported Clinical Research Center. It draws its patients from a large referral area, which provides the necessary diversity to cover all aspects of clinical endocrinology.
