Research Subject Recruiting Services
In
keeping with our goal to increase the scientific and medical
knowledge needed to eradicate diabetes and help those with
diabetes to live better lives diabetes investigators who need
volunteers for IRB-approved studies can take advantage of three
recruitment avenues:

Short descriptions of studies can be included on the
website.

Our
Newsletter:
Short descriptions can be included in the newsletter
which is available online.
Paper copies are also distributed in locations across
Central PA.

Our
Diabetes Database: This open database contains names and contact information of
volunteers who are willing to have this information shared and
to be contacted about participation in research studies.
We can search the database and provide names and contact
information of interested volunteers who generally match
recruitment criteria.

Investigators
who have volunteers who have expressed a desire to be contacted
for future studies are encouraged to share these names for
inclusion in the database. Email luk10@psu.edu

4. Our Diabetes Registry: The registry offers an
ideal way of recruiting volunteers into research studies of
specific diabetes care and related interventions.
Associations between patient characteristics and disease
outcomes can be obtained from cross-sectional and longitudinally
