Stress, Health and Diabetes Experience Study

Purpose
The aim of this multi-site study* is to learn more about the ways that stress affects the lives of people with diabetes.
What will happen in the study?
Over a period of two years, eligible study participants will complete 15 visits. After the first visit, the rest of the visits will last either thirty or sixty minutes. Paricipants will be asked to have a fingerstick to test a few drops of blood, to do some writing, complete some questionnaires and complete some exercises on a computer.
Who is eligible to participate?
People who were diagnosed with diabetes after age 25 and did not start taking insulin during the first year.
People who are between 25-75 years of age.
People who do not have severe psychological problems.
Compensation is provided for participation in this research study.
