Research Funding

The Department of Dermatology is proud of our research accomplishments to date, but there is much more work to be done. Research, however, requires funding.

With the diminishing availability of federal funds for biomedical research, we're now, more than ever, dependent upon the generosity of private donors to support our research endeavors. Accordingly, we hope that you will consider making a tax-deductible contribution to our Dermatology Research Endowment Fund. If you can, you will help ensure that dermatology research will continue to grow and flourish here at the Penn State College of Medicine. In the long term, dermatology patients will benefit directly. In the short term, you can be certain that your support will be greatly appreciated.

Matching is growing rapidly as a form of corporate aid to higher education. More than 1,000 companies match employee contributions on at least a dollar-for-dollar basis. In an attempt to increase support to education, some companies will double and even triple match gifts. Is your company one of them? Check with your personnel office for details on how to obtain the appropriate application form for gift matching.
