The
Penn State Clinical Research Training Programs are based on an
interdepartmental curriculum working in conjunction with the Penn
State K30 program and the Graduate Education program in the
Department of Public Health Sciences. It provides graduate
training in clinical research for physicians, nurses, and other
allied health professionals.
The Penn State Clinical Research
Training Programs have been made possible through the cooperation of
Penn State clinical investigators who take time to teach and mentor,
by the Department of Public Health Sciences (PHS) which provides
many of the courses, and by a K30 grant from the NIH.
There are three study options available to individuals who seek
further education to help their career goals. The options
include the Master of Science degree in Public Health Sciences,
the Post-Baccalaureate Credit Certificate in Clinical Research or
pursuing non-degree credits in graduate level courses for continuing
education and professional development. Please refer to the
Graduate Program
website for specific option information. |
