  • If you can not Print as a pdf, then use this Excel Form and Save As _ into the folder above.

  • Note:  Use your Name or other Unique description and please make sure the tubes are labelled similarly with something descriptive, as well.

A Calendar has been set up to allow you to sign up for our Genomics and Proteomics Instruments and Services.  Please go to http://genomics.calendarhost.com

Functional Genomics personnel will also mark time off on this calendar so you can plan accordingly if you require assistance.

The daily operation of the

Microarray and qRT-PCR facility

(HCAR 3200) is the responsibility of:

Rob Brucklacher

&

Georgina Bixler

Please communicate by email whenever possible (Click their names above to send email).  This will allow experiments to be done in a timely fashion and you will be responded to as soon as possible.

(this will be updated as soon as possible)

qPCR

  • Current charge per run on for ABI7300 is $25. ABI7900 is $50/run.
  • The Core has qPCR reagents ( Plates, Master Mixes, Endogenous Controls )which are charged based on amount used.

Microarrays

  • For our current microarray platform, we utilize Illumina arrays.
  • Our previous microarray platform, Codelink, is again available from an alternate supplier, as well.

Please contact Rob Brucklacher to set up Microarray discussion and suggestions.

Laser Capture Microdissection

  • A Zeiss P.A.L.M. LCM is maintained by the Core as a shared instrument.  We do not offer sectioning and LCM as a service.   We are available to schedule training.

The Department of Public Health Sciences is also available as experts in bioinformatics related to microarray analysis - click link below:
