Penn State Hershey Medical Center’s Web site is best viewed
using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, Mozilla Firefox or
Safari. Earlier versions of these browsers will allow you to
view most of this site; however, we strongly recommend updating
to the latest version of your browser.
Navigation Not Displaying
The navigation bars on this site require JavaScript, which is
enabled by default on all of the browsers listed above; however,
if you experience difficulty viewing the site, check to confirm
that JavaScript is enabled.
To enable JavaScript in Microsoft Internet Explorer, go to
the Tools menu and select Internet Options. From the Internet
Options window, select Security. Then Select the Internet
option. Next select the Custom Level button near the bottom of
the window. Within the Security Settings window, scroll down to
the Scripting option. Select the Enable Option beneath the
Active Scripting heading. Select the OK button.
Norton Personal Firewall is known to interfere with the
proper operation of JavaScript on some pages. If you are using
this package, you will need to make a configuration change in
order to use this site. Select the Options tab, then the Web
Content tab. Under the Global Settings option, scroll down and
select Permit under Scripting. Select the OK button.
You may have to clear the cache in your browser and refresh
the page for it to display properly. |
