Advisory Board
Meet Your Children's Miracle Network Advisory Board Member:

Ashley Flower
Ashley Flower, public relations specialist,
Rite Aid Corporation, joined the Children’s Miracle Network
Advisory Board when she began her job with Rite Aid in 2006.
Ashley, who attended La Salle University, finds her involvement
with Children’s Miracle Network to be one of the highlights of
her job. When she isn’t running the Children’s Miracle Network
campaign for Rite Aid’s 5,000 stores, 15 distribution centers
and the corporate office, Ashley handles day-to-day media
inquiries and promotes initiatives for the company. When she is
not at work, she might be found watching her favorite movie One
Fine Day or her favorite television shows, Law & Order SVU and
House.
Children’s
Miracle Network is a perfect partner for Ashley, and for Rite
Aid, whose core values are to be a caring neighbor, involved in
community activities in meaningful ways. Rite Aid has been a
proud sponsor of Children’s Miracle Network for fourteen years,
raising more than $34 million dollars for 117 children’s
hospitals in the communities where they do business. Like her
colleagues at Rite Aid, Ashley believes in the mission of
Children’s Miracle Network and is proud to be affiliated with an
organization that makes such a difference in the lives of ill
and injured children.
For Ashley,
who lives by the Jack Nicklaus quote “Resolve never to quit,
never to give up, no matter what the situation,”
it is a very enjoyable privilege to be a part of the
Children’s Miracle Network Advisory Board. She likes the
exchange of ideas between members as well as the motivation and
support that stems from the Board’s discussions. As a newer
member, she been most impressed that the other members, all from
different industries and professions are tied together by the
common bond of doing whatever they can to help the kids at Penn
State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
Children’s Miracle Network at Penn State
Children’s Hospital is honored to have Ashley serve as a member
of our Advisory Board. Thank you, Ashley, for your selfless
service! |
