Description The study is comparing two FDA approved drugs on the yearly rate of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) worsening
What is expected of me? Attend 10 morning visits over 56 weeks. Have breathing tests done at all visits. Keep a daily diary. Measure Peak Flows daily. Have a chest x-ray and baseline ECG.
Inclusion Criteria 40 years old or older; diagnosed with COPD, bronchitis or emphysema; 10 years or more of a smoking history
Exclusion Criteria Pregnant or breastfeeding; lung surgery
Length of Study 56 Weeks
