Penn State Children's Heart Group is a team of experienced pediatric cardiovascular physicians, working together to provide the most advanced heart care for patients with congenital acquired heart disease from the smallest newborn, children, teenagers and adults with congenital heart defects. With pediatric cardiologists in every subspecialty, and a world renowned pediatric cardiovascular surgeon, we have experience treating even the rarest of heart defects and conditions.

Organization Attains Elite Magnet Recognition


Penn State Hershey Medical Center was notified on Wednesday, August 15, 2007, that it has been awarded Magnet Recognition - the nursing profession’s highest honor for health care organizations - by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Penn State Hershey Medical Center Leads Local Hospital to Prepare for Health Emergency Readiness


Hospitals in seven local counties will use a $2.5 million federal grant to eliminate gaps in the region's ability to handle health emergencies such as a flu pandemic.

Penn State Hershey will lead the effort, which will involve additional hospitals in Dauphin, Cumberland, Lebanon, York, Franklin, Adams and Lancaster counties.
