The staff of pediatric
gastroenterology and nutrition
evaluates and manages digestive tract,
liver, and pancreas disorders in
newborns, children, and adolescents.
All endoscopic (to look inside the body
cavity) diagnostic and therapeutic
procedures are available. The staff of
this section is particularly interested
in chronic viral hepatitis, neonatal
liver disease, and chronic inflammatory
bowel disease. Pediatric
gastroenterology and nutrition staff
also has an interest in children with
failure to thrive and feeding
disorders.
