Behavior Change Counseling to Improve Adherence to New Diabetes Technology is a recorded lecture originally presented on Thursday, September 25, 2008.  Continuing Medical Education credit will be awarded to physicians and nurses who view the presentation and complete and submit the on-line evaluation and posttest (must achieve 80% or greater).  Participation should take approximately one hour.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of Penn State College of Medicine and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.  Penn State College of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Penn State College of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

1.0 contact hour awarded.  Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Nursing Education and Professional Development is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by PA state Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Credit is valid from October 1, 2008, through October 1, 2009.  No credit will be given after October 1, 2009.
