To submit an abstract:

STEP 1 Prepare the abstract using the
template
example provided. Abstracts must fit on one standard US 8.5
x 11 inch sheet of paper. Use
10-point type or larger. Allow one-inch margins on all
sides. Abstracts will be reproduced exactly as submitted.

STEP 2 Complete the on-line
Presenting Author(s) Information Form. You will receive a
confirmation immediately upon submission of your form.

STEP 3 Abstracts must be submitted as
an e-mail attachment using Microsoft Word or compatible
software to
ContinuingEd@hmc.psu.edu
Within 48 hours, you will receive an e-mail confirmation
indicating that both your form
& the abstract attachment have been received. If you cannot submit your
abstract as an e-mail attachment, camera-ready abstracts can

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: All abstracts accepted
for presentation at the Symposium and for competition are
eligible for a $500 award (1 clinical and 1 scientific) sponsored
by the PASCCM. To be eligible for the award, you must be
willing to give an oral presentation of your abstract/poster if
selected. Abstracts will be reproduced exactly as
submitted. It is the author's responsibility to submit
abstracts in perfect order with no errors in spelling or
grammar. Abstracts will not be retyped or corrected.
The author agrees PASCCM may publish (electronically or
otherwise) the abstract in the program and in a PASCCM
newsletter. The signing author certifies that any work
with human or animal subjects related in this abstract complies
with the guiding principles for experimental procedures as set
forth in the Declaration of Helsinki, in the American
Physiological Society's "Guiding Principles in the Care and Use
of Animals," and in the NIH "Guide for Grants and Contracts."
Appendix 1, Vol. 7, No. 17 (November 1978). This abstract
may have been presented at a previous national meeting.
Submissions will be judged on the merits of the abstract.
Authors will be expected to display a poster at the meeting.
Poster presenters must register for the meeting. Poster
boards (4'x8') will be provided. PLEASE BRING VELCRO, PUSH
PINS, OR TAPE.

Please enter the information below concerning
the presenting author(s) of the abstract. The presenting author
must submit all required contact information and complete the
section on disclosure of financial relationships. The
Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education requires
that CME providers identify & resolve any potential conflict of
interest related to educational content. Abstract submissions
will not be considered if disclosure is not provided.
By submitting an abstract, you are agreeing that
if it is accepted, you are willing to pay the conference
registration fee and all associated travel expenses to attend
the conference.
