Outreach |
The Pediatric Anesthesia faculty are involved in international mission work
through the Operation Smile and Interplast organizations, as well as yearly
trips to Ecuador with the Penn State Children’s Heart Group program, and annual
pediatric orthopedic missions to Honduras. |

Research
in the Department of Anesthesiology is conducted by numerous faculty, residents,
post-docs and technicians and generally falls into three distinct by highly
complementary arenas: Basic, Clinical, and Simulation/Education.
