The Ambrose Family Scholarship
The Ambrose Family Scholarship
is awarded
to a student or students enrolled at Penn State
University's College of Medicine. The recipient exhibits, in addition to
academic achievement, service to their
community or their country.
Bedrick Family Medical Student Research Program Award
This award recognizes outstanding pediatric
research in the Medical Student Research Program. Consideration for this
award is given to all full-time medical students enrolled in the College of
Medicine who have a desire to do pediatric research for their medical student
research project, and who exhibit some exemplary achievement.
The Dr. Dan F. and Kathleen E. Kopen Endowment
The Dr. Dan F. and Kathleen E. Kopen Endowment is given to
a second, third, or fouth year medical student enrolled at Penn State College of
Medicine who has achieved positive academic achievement; who indicate a
distinguished level of professionalism; and who demonstrate promise of success
in their medical careers by a demonstrated understanding that such success will
be measured not only by the quality of the doctor-patient and research
experiences, but also by humanitarian service to the broader community.
The Dr. Martin F. and Patricia A. Scheinholtz Endowment
The Dr. Martin F. and Patricia K. Scheinholtz College of
Medicine Endowment gives recognition and financial assistance to
outstanding medical students enrolled in the College of Medicine who have
achieved positive academic records in their undergraduate studies and who
manifest promise of outstanding academic success; who indicate a high level of
professionalism; who display exceptional humanitarianism; who demonstrate
promise of success in their medical or scientific careers; and who have a
demonstrated financial need.

Endowment
The Dr. Richard W. and Marcia D. Geller Excellence
Endowment is given to a third or fourth year medical student enrolled at
Penn State College of Medicine who intends to pursue a career in pediatrics or
adolescent medicine, and who achieved superior academic records or who manifest
promise of outstanding academic success.
Graduate Alumni Endowment
The Graduate Alumni endowment is awarded annually to
strengthen the educational experience of graduate students by making funds
available for program and research needs, including travel and conference
