Nominations
Nominations are solicited from the deans of the academic colleges in
consultation with department chairpersons and faculty, and Commonwealth Campus
executive officers.
Selecting Body
The selection committee includes, but is not limited to, the provost of the
University, the vice president for development and university relations, the
executive director of university relations, a member of Alumni Council, and the
executive director of the Alumni Association.
Calendar
Nominations are solicited in early fall, and selection is made by January.
Visits are arranged through the sponsoring college(s) for the following spring
or fall. The award is presented to the recipient in a formal ceremony at a
reception hosted by the president of the University.
