The Penn State
College of Medicine Alumni Society was founded in the spring
of 1974 by sixty-two members. As a constituent society of
the Penn State Alumni Association, the Society allows alumni
to express their loyalty and support of Penn State through
their own college or campus.
The College of
Medicine Alumni Society's purpose, as stated in its
constitution, is to:
-
Promote
the interest, welfare, and advancement of the College of
Medicine and Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical
Center.
-
Promote
beneficial relationships among the Board of Trustees,
alumni, faculty, and students.
-
Provide a
forum for presentation and discussion of policies and
subjects of mutual interest.
-
Advance
and promote the cause of continuing medical education,
patient care, and medical sciences.
The Society is
directed by its officers and Board of Directors. Officers
